Charities We Support in Our Communities
$250 to the Caring Foundation turned into $500 with
matching funds from Dakota Medical Foundation. This is
enough to provide free health and dental coverage to
almost two North Dakota kids for a year.

$250 to Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo grows to
about $2,700 of food provided to people throughout

Here's what we did for Christmas 2009 in the Northern Latitudes, helping those less fortunate in this holiday season. We donated
$250 each to the North Dakota Caring Foundation, Great Plains Food Bank, the Detroit Lakes Food Bank and the Marshmellow
Foundation, not to mention the annual Operation Teddy Bear on Christmas Day and our two, count 'em, two Giving Trees.
Another successful Operation Teddy Bear went on Christmas
Day at St. Mary's despite some rough weather in the northland.

Council, helping the holidays brighter for those less fortunate in
our area.
Becker County's Food Pantry also received a $250 gift, just in
time for Christmas Day.
